Grocery Store Scavenger Hunt

Let’s shop for vegetables! This community-based activity asks students to critically consider the variety and pricing of foods. Students will recognize the varied forms in which vegetables are processed, priced, and sold at the grocery store. This provides opportunities to discuss and write about the economic forces that drive the different options.
