A place for connecting with food and those who grow it.

The Food + Farm Exploration Center is the physical manifestation of our mission. It will be a place for education, unforgettable family experiences, lots of fun, and great wholesome food. It will be a tremendous resource for teachers and schools and an excellent destination for family excursions and agritourists. It will be a unique way to learn about careers in agriculture. Regardless of age or background, everyone will find immersive, multi-sensory activities and exhibits that will give them a new perspective on food and production agriculture.

The land for the exploration center was graciously donated to the Farming for the Future Foundation by the Worzella Family. The Worzella’s are multi-generational potato and vegetable growers. We’re thrilled to build the exploration center on some of the same land they’ve farmed for generations. The twenty-four-acre site will be used to tell the story of production agriculture for generations to come.

Our mission is to educate current and future generations about agricultural innovation and sustainability.

Farming for the Future Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is simple, people want to know where their food comes from, and farmers want to share those stories. We want to create common ground where people can learn more directly from the industry without taking away from the important work that must be completed to feed the growing world.

That’s why the foundation exists. Its goal is to promote agricultural literacy, to increase the understanding of the origins of our food, and to deepen the relationship between farmers and consumers.

The Farming for the Future Foundation was founded by the Pavelski Family and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2018.

The history of the Pavelski family is deeply rooted in agriculture. They are multi-generational farmers from Central Wisconsin who began farming in 1873. In the almost one-hundred and fifty years that have passed since then, they've watched agriculture grow and evolve into a technologically advanced, science-driven industry that continues to play a critical role in providing nutritious food for the world's growing population.
