International Day of Potato Celebration

  • Food + Farm Exploration Center 3400 Innovation Drive Plover, WI 54467 USA (map)

A Global Celebration of the World’s Favorite Tuber

Mark your calendars for a day of "spud-tacular" fun! On Saturday, May 30, Food + Farm Exploration Center joins the global community in celebrating International Day of Potato. This day is dedicated to recognizing the nutritional, economic, and cultural importance of the potato—and we’re doing it with some extra flair.

Building on the success of last year, we are bringing back your favorite activities and adding new enhancements to make this year even bigger. Whether you’re a fan of the science behind the starch or just here for the snacks, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

EVENT DETAILS

  • Cost: Included with General Admission (Free for Members!)

  • Highlights: Free chips, exclusive stickers, and drop-in activities.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We are transforming the Center into a potato paradise for the day. While some details are still "growing," here is a sneak peek at the fun:

  • Drop-In Activities: Engage with hands-on stations throughout the day that explore the journey of the potato from Wisconsin soil to the global stage.

  • Colorful Plate Café Specials: Keep an eye out for potato-themed culinary creations specifically curated for this event.

  • Full Access: Your event entry includes access to all 61 high-tech exhibits and our four-acre demonstration fields.

Check back soon! We will be updating this page with a full schedule of drop-in activity times and a reveal of our special café menu as we get closer to the celebration.
