Q&A with a Farmer: Technology and the Future of Farming

We're back at Coloma Farms with a member of our board of directors, Andy Diercks and are learning about the ways farms have changed over the years.

Did you know that farms are places to find robots, drones and self-guided vehicles? All of these advancements mean farmers can produce more with less, protecting their resources and keeping food on tables across the country. They also create a need for tech enthusiasts and problem solvers.

Farms today are hiring engineers, scientists and computer programmers. Opportunities abound and, as Andy says, we're excited to get more people into agriculture.
