Meet the Team: Jenn Scott

Jenn Scott joined the Food + Farm Exploration Center team as the Education Program Manager.

Scott joins the team with an extensive background in agricultural education. She spent ten years as a high school agriculture teacher, and she was most recently a youth education associate with the Noble Research Institute in Oklahoma.

In her last position, Scott spent time developing curriculum and working with teachers to increase the knowledge of agriculture in middle and high schools across the United States.

"The years in the classroom are where I discovered my passion for the science side of agriculture,” Scott said.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Truman State University and a Master of Science in Agriculture Education from Oklahoma State University.

While in the classroom, Scott became a DuPont agriscience teacher, a prestigious program that teachers must apply and be accepted to each year. Scott was also certified in plant science and introduction to agriculture courses through the Curriculum for Agriculture Science Education program.

Scott is excited to join the FFTFF team and propel the education program forward.

“One of the things that excites me the most is that the program is still in the development phase,” Scott said. “There is so much opportunity to get the curriculum into schools and grow the program.”

Scott sees a bright future for the Foundation’s education program and is looking forward to leading the education team.

In her limited free time, Scott says she enjoys do-it-yourself projects, woodworking, spending time with her pets and traveling.

Join us in welcoming Scott to the team.
