Meet the Team: Kathleen O’Leary
Kathleen O’Leary is the Transition and Culture Strategist for the Food + Farm Exploration Center and Farming for the Future Foundation.
In December of 2022, O’Leary served as Interim Executive Director for the Food + Farm Exploration Center and Farming for the Future Foundation for six months.
O’Leary was the first female Chief Executive Officer of the Wisconsin State Fair Park from October 2016 until her retirement in Fall, 2021. Prior to being appointed CEO, O’Leary served for 18 years at Wisconsin State Fair Park in executive management roles in marketing, sponsorship, communications, and facility operations.
She looks forward to “being involved in the incredible project that is based on passion and the profound need to educate people of all ages on the importance of modern agriculture and how your food really gets to your table.”
In her spare time, O’Leary serves on the Visit Milwaukee Board of Directors and is a Tempo Milwaukee member and very active in her Wauwatosa community. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her three adult daughters.
