Get to know Farming for the Future Foundation: Board of Directors Member Jordan Lamb
With each election, Jordan Lamb begins again sharing the story of Wisconsin agriculture with the 132 policymakers who will make laws to regulate farmers and agribusiness. An attorney and contract lobbyist with more than 20 years of experience, Jordan represents a number of agricultural trade associations and serves as a link between government, policymakers, regulators, farmers and agri-business. Jordan helps to ensure lawmakers understand the agriculture industry and the impact that proposed regulations will have on Wisconsin farmers, while also working with industry leaders to understand proposed public policy and its’ affect business.
Jordan joined the Farming for the Future Foundation board to help grow a broader understanding of what Wisconsin farming is and is not.
“The general public is very familiar with our state’s great dairy industry, but there is so much more to Wisconsin agriculture,” Jordan said. “Potato and vegetable farming have an equally impressive history in Wisconsin and serve as a huge economic sector to our state’s agricultural economy. A lot of people don’t even know that these crops are grown here.”
Thank you to Jordan for helping Wisconsin farmers protect resources, grow as an industry and share a widespread understanding of our state’s agriculture business.

Favorite way to enjoy a potato: Chips – folded chips have the best crunch!
Piece of technology I couldn’t live without: My treadmill
Favorite place to be: Outside. Running, walking, skiing or on the lake with my family. I’m not an indoor person.
Mantra to live by: Do the hard thing. When you’re faced with two choices, you have to choose the hard path. You always regret it when you don’t give it your all.
