Meet the Team: Alex Skawinski
Alex Skawinski is the newly hired Executive Office Manager for the Food + Farm Exploration Center.
Skawinski’s role is to support the Executive Director and Food + Farm Exploration Center team, assist with project management, human resource needs, finances and manage board administrative responsibilities.
She is eager “to join the Food + Farm Exploration Center’s team of professionals, working on behalf of agricultural education and community development.”
Skawinski earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Wildlife Ecology with a minor in Captive Wildlife Management from UW-Stevens Point.
Skawinski comes to the team with over seven years of experience in agriculture with the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association. She is a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Ignite Young Professionals.
Alex enjoys spending time with her husband of fifteen years, Paul, two kids, and dog Finn. In her free time, Alex will be outdoors gardening, fishing, hiking, or camping.
