How Sweet Is It?

In the high school version of the lesson, students will use a Brix Refractometer to determine sugar content in fruits at various stages of maturity to illustrate that respiration is occurring. In the middle school version, students will measure the sugar content of various fruit juices and compare their readings to the industry standard.
