For winter break, our education team has organized some special activities that are appropriate for all ages. See all our winter break activities on our blog.

SCHEDULE

  • 10 - 11 AM Bean & Seed Mosaics: Design a beautiful mosaic using colorful seeds and beans while discovering the science of seeds! Learn how seeds are the foundation of life providing diversity for our diets and sustainability for farmers in our Makerspace.

  • 11 AM - 1 PM Mini Potato Pizzas: Create something new and delicious using those leftover potatoes as the crust for pizza! Learn this easy recipe that can be customized easily. Enjoy a snack with Chef Dave in our Kitchen Lab. Vegetarian and gluten free options available.

  • 1 - 2 PM Paper Snowflakes: Make your own unique paper snowflake and learn why snow matters in agriculture for moisture, insulation, nutrient distribution, and pest control in our Makerspace.
