Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your technique, you’ll learn essential sourdough fundamentals—from understanding the fermentation process and caring for an active starter to troubleshooting common challenges and making the most of sourdough discard. Guided step-by-step, you’ll prep your very own loaf during class to take home and bake in your oven.
Plus, enjoy live culinary demonstrations and tasting samples featuring freshly baked sourdough plus a few special items (like sourdough cookies and maybe even a refreshing beverage)!

Hands-On Bread Prepping: Learn key sourdough steps (autolyze, levain, and stretch-and-folds) and prep a fresh loaf to bake in your home oven.
Starter Care & Terminology: Demystify sourdough lingo, learn how to feed and maintain your starter, and give your new kitchen companion a name!
Delicious Demonstrations & Sampling: Taste-test various sourdough bread variations alongside a few special surprises!
