Dig Into the Science of Gardening
Are you ready to grow your skills? Join us at Food + Farm Exploration Center for an immersive Gardening Merit Badge Clinic. This session is designed to help scouts master the fundamentals of horticulture, from the way seeds germinate to the way honeybees sustain our global food supply. You’ll get hands-on experience starting vegetables and flowers from seed, identifying garden pests, and even constructing your very own hydroponic garden. Registration available soon!

Prerequisites: Requirements 1 and 9 (Please write a brief report and bring it to the clinic).

Hands-On Science: Discover how seeds germinate and experiment with hydroponic growing systems.
Garden Safety & Ecology: Learn to identify pests and understand the safety hazards of working in a garden.
Admission Included: Registration includes a snack and full general admission to our 61 world-class exhibits for the participating Scout.
Adult Participation: Accompanying adults may purchase exhibit admission at a discount of $7 to explore the Center.
