Get ready for a mash-tastic day of family fun, creative activities, and spud-tacular entertainment at Food + Farm Exploration Center! Whether you are lacing up your running shoes for The Masher 5K, crafting potato art in the Makerspace, grabbing a festive selfie with the World’s Largest Potato Masher or cheering on your favorite mascot, there is something for spud-lovers of all ages to enjoy.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Food + Farm Exploration Center is dedicated to cultivating curiosity and advancing agricultural literacy across Wisconsin. We suggest a $10 donation per person for this event, which directly helps fund accessible community celebrations like this one and supports hands-on agricultural education for students and families year-round!

The Masher 5K Fun Run (10:00 AM): Kick off your morning with an energetic 5K run/walk around our grounds!
Mascot Race (11:30 AM): Watch our friendly local mascots go head-to-head on the back lawn!
Mashed Potato Eating Contest (12:00 PM): See who can devour a mountain of mashed potatoes the fastest.
Special Guest - Alice in Dairyland (12:00 PM – 2:30 PM): Meet Anastasia Poull, Wisconsin's 77th Alice in Dairyland, as she joins the festivities and helps present contest awards!

Spudmobile Interactive Exhibit: Step inside the Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association's mobile education center!

Bounce Houses: High-energy fun for kids on the lawn!
Ham Radio Command Center: Interactive radio gear presented by Central WI Amateur Radio Club.
Colorful Plate Café Specials: Bites and beverages to celebrate our favorite spud!
Potato Gnocchi with Food + Farm Vodka Sauce served with Garlic Bread
Crispy Potato Benny: Eggs Benedict with a Wisconsin twist. Crispy potato patty, sausage patty, sunny side up local egg, hollandaise, and smoked paprika.
