This class will cover the dessert wines Ruby Port and Cream Sherry as well as characteristics of red blends, Malbecs, and Riojas. The session will begin with 60 minutes of general wine facts and end with a wine and cheese tasting. This will be presented in a conversational format and questions at any time are encouraged. Five wines will be tasted:
Red Blend
Malbec
Rioja
Cream Sherry
Ruby Port
This class is presented in partnership between Mid-State Technical College and the Food + Farm Exploration Center.
