SOLD OUT // Gourmet Food and Wine Pairing

Experience gourmet small plates prepared by Chef Ryan paired with wine selected and explained by Rich Neumann, part-time Culinary Arts instructor. There will be three small plates paired with three wines. Chef Ryan will explain each plate as it is served, and Rich will explain the wine and how it complements the dish. Each participant will receive a wine scoring sheet with a description of each wine for personal notetaking. This will be a two-hour educational tasting event with plenty of time to ask questions. Dishes in this class include:

  • Creamy Potato Fondant paired with Chardonnay

  • Herb encrusted roasted pork loin with honey garlic sauce served with sauteed green beans served with Merlot

  • Sweet baked green apple tartlets served with a sweet Riesling

This class is presented in partnership between Mid-State Technical College and the Food + Farm Exploration Center.
