Discover the journey of one of Wisconsin’s most aromatic crops. Join Food + Farm Exploration Center for an immersive "harvest + make" experience that begins among the vibrant rows of our greenhouse and concludes with a hands-on culinary session in our Kitchen Lab.

You’ll gain an insider’s perspective on the innovation behind large-scale mint production and learn how to translate those fresh flavors into your own kitchen through hands-on crafting and expert-led demonstrations.

  • Price: $45.00 per person | Members save 10%

  • Suggested Age: 12+ (Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Must be 21+ to comsume alcohol.)

  • Registration Deadline: Monday, April 20th 2026

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Greenhouse Exploration: Kick off the evening with a signature Mint Mocktail (or cocktail for those 21+) and a pea-lemon-mint tartlet. Explore the greenhouse and learn the science of Wisconsin’s "muck soil" mint farming—from soil types to large-scale processing.

  • The Kitchen Lab: Head to the kitchen to learn the secrets of using fresh herbs. Watch a live demonstration of Mint Jelly and Beet Burgers with Green Goddess dressing, complete with samplers for everyone.

  • Harvest & Make: Each participant will harvest their own fresh mint and herbs to create a custom Herb Compound Butter to take home.

  • Seating: Reserved tables are not available. You’ll seat yourself, so please plan accordingly if you are attending with a group. You may be sitting with others and make some new foodie friends!
