Meet the Team: Bobbi Kubish
Bobbi Kubish has joined the Food + Farm Exploration Center team as the Director of Educational Programming. Kubish’s role will be to guide and support the F+FEC’s excellent educational team with their programming development and outreach efforts. She will also help in creating and sustaining educational partnerships within and beyond the local community.
Kubish looks forward to encouraging youth to consider agriculture and natural resources as professions.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Land Use Planning and Political Science with a minor in Soil Science and Master of Science in Environmental Education/Interpretation from UW-Stevens Point, she enjoyed a rewarding 23-year career at UW-Stevens Point. She wore many hats, including Outreach Specialist for the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education K-12 Energy Education Program, the Program Manager and Interim Director for the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station, Recruitment and International Programs Specialist, and most recently Coordinator of the CNR Student Success Center.
Bobbi enjoys watching and supporting her two sons in their latest pursuits and adventures. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially around a meal, campfire or boiling sap.
