Mr. Crumb’s Potato Predicament Graphing Activity

This activity features the book Mr. Crum’s Potato Predicament by Anne Renaud. The book tells the story of Mr. George Crum and how he came to invent the potato chip. Students will hear the story and discuss how the story is similar to the real life account of Mr. Crum. Then they will test three types of potato chips to determine their favorite, create a picture graph as a class, determine totals, and finally create a bar graph of the results.
