At Food + Farm Exploration Center, our U-Pick Harvest Days are a hands-on celebration of Wisconsin agriculture. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it is our mission to ensure everyone understands where their food comes from.
These free, family-friendly events invite you to step into our on-site demonstration fields to harvest your own farm-fresh produce and experience the "field to fork" journey firsthand. Grown with purpose, each crop helps us show what agriculture looks like today—and how it shapes our lives in Wisconsin and beyond. Find out more about our U-Pick Harvest Days.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Bring your own bags or containers (no shovels or wheelbarrows, please!).
Dress for a farm setting—expect natural terrain and walking.
Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for a picnic!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Experience the joy of the harvest with activities designed for the whole family in Plover, WI.
Harvest Your Own: Step into the fields to pick seasonal favorites like potatoes, sweet corn, or green beans (crops vary by month).
Family Fun: Let the kids burn off some energy in our bounce house!
Concessions: Enjoy a picnic on the grounds and maybe enjoy some of your harvested produce too!
Nonprofit Impact: Any produce remaining after our community harvest is donated to local food security organizations, helping us feed our neighbors.
U-PICK MENU
Pulled Pork Sandwich ($10): Smoked pulled pork on a buttered potato bun with Apple BBQ sauce, slaw, and pickles. Served with Lay’s chips.
Corn Dog ($7): All-beef frank hand-dipped in cornmeal batter. Served with Lay’s chips.
Uncrustable ($3): Sunflower butter & grape jelly.
Dessert ($3): Sugar Cookie with sprinkles or a Lay’s Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Refreshments: Frozen Lemonade ($4), Frozen Lemon Fizz with Champagne ($8), Local Beer & Cider ($5), Wine ($6), or Soda ($3).
