Professional Development: Agricultural Education for Teachers
Connecting the Classroom to the Community
Agriculture is a primary driver of the Wisconsin economy and is found everywhere around us—from the technology in our fields to the food on our dinner tables. Join Food + Farm Exploration Center for a special professional development experience designed to help teachers of all grades illustrate the processes involved in modern food production.
This immersive day of learning will feature tours of area agriculture businesses and hands-on activities that you can take directly back to your classroom. Use the knowledge you gain to help your students connect their daily lessons to real-world situations, innovations, and local career pathways.
