Professional Development Day for Teachers

  • Food + Farm Exploration Center 3400 Innovation Drive Plover, WI 54467 USA (map)

Did you know that Wisconsin ranks third in the nation for potato production? Agriculture is a primary driver of the Wisconsin economy and is found everywhere around us.

Enjoy a day of learning about agriculture in your community at this special professional development experience designed to illustrate the processes involved in producing food and getting it to your dinner table. You’ll learn about innovations and technology that are helping producers grow more food and how food processors keep that food safe. Use the knowledge you gain to help your students connect classroom learning to real-world situations.
