Explore the Science of Agronomy and Agriculture
Discover how plants fuel the world! This clinic at Food + Farm Exploration Center focuses on plant biology and the science of agronomy—producing and managing plants for food, fuel, and fiber. Scouts will dive deep into photosynthesis, soil function, and seed testing. We will specifically focus on the role of commercial corn production in the United States, exploring how growers manage pests and diseases to sustain our nation’s food and fuel supply.
