Homeschool Workshop: Harvest

Celebrate the arrival of autumn on the farm! September marks the official beginning of harvest season, making it the perfect time for young learners to discover how crops make their way from field to fork. In this hands-on homeschool workshop, students will explore the tools, technology, and science of harvesting through engaging lessons, interactive activities, and a harvest-inspired snack creation in our Kitchen Lab.

  • Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2026

  • Time: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

  • Cost: $15 per learner | Members save 10%

  • Audience: Ages 6–8 & Ages 9–12 (Two separate age-tailored tracks available)

  • Includes: Interactive farming lessons, hands-on harvest activities, and a Kitchen Lab culinary snack project

  • Registration Deadline: Wednesday, August 26, 2026

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Hands-on Agricultural Learning: Explore how Wisconsin farmers harvest, sort, and process crops during peak autumn season.

  • Age-Tailored Groups: Students will participate in activities specifically structured for their age bracket (Ages 6–8 or Ages 9–12) for maximum engagement.

  • Kitchen Lab Experience: End the afternoon by preparing and enjoying a delicious, seasonal snack in our state-of-the-art Kitchen Lab.

  • Interactive Exploration: Connect science, math, and social studies through interactive farm-focused STEM learning.
