Calling all homeschool families! Join us at Food + Farm Exploration Center for a special Homeschool Field Trip Day packed with hands-on learning, scientific discovery, and interactive fun!
Designed as a collaborative learning experience for students and families of all ages, this dedicated field trip invites children and parents to explore our interactive exhibit halls together. Roll up your sleeves for creative engineering projects in the AgLab Makerspace, watch engaging culinary science demonstrations in the Kitchen Lab, and discover how crops grow during a guided tour of our state-of-the-art greenhouse.
This is a family event—parents and guardians are required to attend alongside their learners and purchase a ticket ($7 per person; children under 3 are free).

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Food + Farm Exploration Center is dedicated to cultivating curiosity and connecting learners of all ages to the science, technology, and production agriculture behind what we eat and grow.

Full Interactive Exhibit Access: Enjoy full admission to explore 60+ hands-on agricultural exhibits as a family during your session.
Note for Parents: We have an afternoon session from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. You can purchase those tickets using the link above if you prefer.
GOOD TO KNOW
Parent/Guardian Requirement: This is a family event and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the program. Tickets ($7.00 per person) are required for every attending adult and child. Children under 3 are free.
Attire: Comfortable clothing and flat, comfortable shoes suitable for walking through the exhibit halls and greenhouse are recommended.
Food & Snacks: Snacks are not provided during the 2-hour session. Families are welcome to visit our on-site Colorful Plate Café before or after their session!
