Exploring Syrah, Petit Sirah, and Wines from the French Rhone Region MSTC Class

We will review the basics of wine and explore the different wines made from Syrah, and Petit Sirah. We will taste and learn about the famous Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines from the French Rhone Region. Learn the difference between Syrah and Petit Sirah and the regional differences of each of these varietals. We will experience the differences between these unique wines paired with various cheeses. Five wines tasted: California Syrah, Australian Shiraz, California Petit Sirah, a White Rhone, and a Chateauneuf-du-Pape. This class is taught by Richard Neumann.
