Who doesn’t love soup in the cold winter months? Find out how easy and foolproof making a pot of soup can be with timesaving shortcuts and economical ways to use up veggies forgotten in the fridge. Chef Shelly will show you how to make three delicious soups along with a quick bread to serve alongside that will nourish you and make for easy leftovers, including:
Roasted cauliflower and carrot cream soup
Chunky southwest black bean with many toppers
Weeknight chicken and wild rice soup
Quick cheesy herb bread
This class is presented in partnership between Mid-State Technical College and the Food + Farm Exploration Center.
