Chianti, the Wine of Italy, with Lasagna

  • Food + Farm Exploration Center 3400 Innovation Drive Plover, WI 54467 USA (map)

Explore Chianti like you never have and enjoy lasagna with it. Chianti is the wine of the Tuscan region of Italy and is made from the Sangiovese grape. We will learn about the different grades of Chianti and taste three of the grades along with a chef prepared lasagna. Five wines tasted: California Sangiovese, Chianti, Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva, and a Super Tuscan.

*Included in the class: Wine glass, samples of cheese, and a slice of lasagna to go along with your five wine samples.
