Hands-On Summer Learning in Wisconsin

Looking for engaging, educational summer camps in Wisconsin? Food + Farm Exploration Center’s 2026 Summer Camp lineup blends agriculture, STEM, cooking and creativity into unforgettable hands-on experiences for curious kids.

With small group sizes and interactive learning, each camp is designed to spark exploration, build confidence and connect youth to food, farming and science in meaningful ways.

Spots are limited to 24 campers per session.

Little Pollinators, Big Jobs

Young explorers will buzz into the world of bees, butterflies, and birds while learning how pollinators help Wisconsin farms and gardens thrive. Through outdoor exploration, crafts, and hands-on discovery, campers become pollinator protectors. Registration is open through June 8th.

  • Dates: June 22–26

  • Time: Half Day, 12:30-3:30 PM

  • Age: Ages K–2

  • Cost: $110 (Members save 10%)

Taste of the USA: A Culinary Road Trip

Pack your apron for a flavorful journey across America. Campers explore regional cuisines, kitchen skills, and the cultural traditions shaping food across the U.S. Registration is open through July 6th.

  • Dates: July 20–24

  • Time: Half Day, 9 AM-12 PM

  • Age: Grades 6–12

  • Cost: $125 (Members save 10%)

Simple Machines + Smart Design

Future engineers will take apart everyday objects, uncover hidden simple machines, and build their own upcycled creations. Registration is open through July 20th.

  • Dates: August 3–7

  • Time: Half Day, 9 AM-12 PM

  • Age: Grades 3–6

  • Cost: $110 (Members save 10%)

Science on a Plate

Campers cook, experiment, and explore the science behind food while traveling region by region across the U.S.  Designed for your curious chefs that perfectly blends culture, chemistry, and creativity. Registration is open through August 3rd.  

  • Dates: August 17-21

  • Time: Full Day, 9 AM-4 PM

  • Age: Grades 2-5

  • Cost: $230 (Members save 10%)

Summer Camp FAQs

  • All camps are held at Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, WI. We utilize our specialized Kitchen Lab, creative Makerspace, Greenhouse, outdoor farm fields, and 60 interactive exhibits for a truly immersive experience.

  • Each camp provides food for our campers. Half-day camps will include a snack. Our Full Day camp includes both a snack and lite lunch. If you have questions about dietary requirements for your camper, please contact us.

  • Your registration fee includes a $30 non-refundable deposit. If cancellation occurs 11 business days or more before the registered camp start date you will receive a refund for the registration costs minus the deposit. If cancellation occurs 10 business days or less before the registered camp start date, your registration costs are non-refundable. Cancellation requests must be sent via email to education@fftf.us
